Porky Pig bringing in the heat!

Image
Started a late shift today (not really late actually) and was thinking what to eat today. On my mind was hot dog, pie and sausage roll. Kept driving and ended up at work without food... So Uber eats it is. Ordered from another cafe also in Albany Highway using Uber Eats. Great menu with a good range to choose from breakfast to lunch. I ordered the Porky Pig and an iced coffee and was delivered with care. The sandwich was not the prettiest but it did pack a punch. The jalapeños used packed a punch and the coleslaw filled the sandwich up nicely. Would say that there’s not enough mean in there, but it is a sandwich after all. I’ve coffee was good too though I’m not sure how my stomach will be like with milk (I am kinda lactose intolerant). Typing away, answering calls and helping one person at a time, have a good day...  Restaurant: The Sparrows Nest Cafè Address: 1/912 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park Rating: 6/10 Review: Could have a bit more meat however was ...

Cheeseburger ft. Cold Brew

Image
So lately I've been supporting local businesses around my workplace. Uber eats is happy I'm supporting the Uber drivers, and I think its  just fair that I'm earning and spending so someone else can earn. This has got to be the best toastie cafe in Perth. With the regular ham and cheese to its dangerous cheeseburger toastie. It's probably the best combination out there that I've never had (though I've been having this for months now). I stumbled upon Bespoke by Barista HQ whilst working and scrolling through Uber eats in December 2019. It's a small cafe in Victoria Park but does some amazing breakfast and lunch menu items. Their coffee (especially their cold brew) is great and not because they're a cafe, but because they actually do barista training courses. So before i get back to work, *crunch*, *munch*, *slurp* have a great day everyone. Restaurant: Bespoke by Barista HQ Address: 400 Albany Highway, Victoria Park, Rating: 10/10 Review: Le...

Fremantle by Night

Image
After a few nights of being out late, cluelessly driving, finding and apple pie, I decided to take the camera out and start shooting again. I haven't been active and its sad to see my gear go to waste. So I went out to Fremantle docks and to the boat quay to take some photos. Although it wasn't the best of weather, I still made use of the time. I love taking photos at night. It gives a feeling of calm but eerie. Here's a few shots taken last night. I'll be posting them all onto my Facebook on a later date. And yes, I finally decided to download Photoshop and pay a subscription just so I can make a logo and start some crazy photo merges. Happy WA day and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Phở and Chill

So with restrictions slowly being lifted and life coming back to a new normal, decided to head out to enjoy some beef broth noodles. It’s about 18 degrees now and the meal was delicious. Topped with beansprouts and some mint leaves it was a perfect meal.  Still here writing this blog and drinking tea, I think of the times when I first moved to Australia and hated this. I was more into rice dishes, the pork bun and rice paper rolls. Here I am 20 years on and have become a noodle boy. Back to basics and back to soul searching starting with a refresh of my life. Getting back to blogging about Photos, Games, Food, Travel and Gundam... and possibly some boring emotional things too.
